The poster promotes “Bons à Lots de 50 Francs” (50-franc lot vouchers), which offered purchasers the chance to win substantial prizes, discounted railway fares, and entry tickets to the exhibition. These promotional posters were an integral part of the exposition’s marketing and are now highly collectible examples of early Art Deco graphic design.
The exposition ran from April to October 1925, covering 72 acres of central Paris, stretching from the Grand Palais to the Esplanade des Invalides. It attracted approximately 16 million visitors, featured designers and architects from around 20 countries, and introduced Art Deco aesthetics to an international audience.
