More structure & a little darker fruit tone than it's sibling te Fleurie.  Perhaps less floral too but more mineral & a pleasing tannin structure to support this very savoury bottling. 

93 Points, Kasia  Sobiesiak, TWF - " I couldn’t decide which of the crus from André Colonge that I tasted is a better wine or personal preference (Brouilly vs Fleurie); they are equally tasty being vastly different and seem to reflect their assumed cru styles very well. Depth of flavour led by a solid mix of mature red and black fruit, tannins are of black tea and a bit sticky, like ripe mulberries and figs. A lift of bergamot, salty black liquorice and a hint of peppery spice are very welcome. This Brouilly cru continues to impress with dark rocks, dark chocolate and a suggestion of spiced rum well into the finish.”
