Unfinished boards are planed on two sides, while sanded boards have their top side treated with a sawdust epoxy to fill cracks and voids, then are sanded to a smooth 220 grit, ready for you to apply your preferred finish. Fully finished boards come with complete sanding and epoxy treatment on the top side, and have two coats of food safe mineral oil applied to the top, and one coat to the bottom.
