The Medtronic Guardian 4 Sensor is a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) sensor designed for people with diabetes ages 7 and older. It is a small, flexible sensor that is inserted just under the skin of your upper arm. Once inserted, the sensor continuously measures your glucose levels in the interstitial fluid (fluid between your cells) and sends the data wirelessly to a compatible receiver or smartphone app. This allows you to see your glucose levels in real-time, track trends, and make informed decisions about your diabetes management.
