What I did : I cleaned it all over, inside out with professional leather cleansing cream, slightly polished all the rough edges with leather protection cream in the same colour and a smooth almond oil cream to keep it's shine. All solid brass hardware has been polished.

Conditions:

This bag is in LIKE NEW condition, almost no sign of use.
The leather feels very soft and smooth.
All trimming/ piping are in great shape.
Oder free.
The interior is clean and neat, no marks.
The shoulder strap is neat and clean.
Duck fob is lovely.
Worth mentioning is that, the strap has three extra notches about 20cm / 10inch distant from from original noteches.
