Hayashi Kougei are a traditional Japanese paper manufacturer based in Gifu. Their range of contemporary homewares includes paper stationery and lanterns, all that draw on the same traditional paper making methods. Their Noppo washi paper lantern has a beautifully crafted, curvaceous shape. Designed by Ono Rina, these LED battery operated paper lanterns provide up to 100 hours of illuminating, softly filtered light. Easily carried from room to room, they make for the perfect patio lights, or placed on a table can add the right touch of mood-creating ambience.
