Shipping Weight: 12 lbs. The MBM AC0628A Scorer Add-On is an accessory that installs into several different MBM paper folders including the popular 408A and 508A models. It expands the paper folder's capability to also not only produce the many folds, but also to score the paper as-needed. This paper scorer add-on can be easily installed and uninstalled as needed, making it ideal for use with sensitive paper stocks, including fibrous stocks and heavy-ink covered pages. Scoring before folding can help prevent cracking of the fibers and ink on these specialty and sensitive materials. Note that scoring and folding cannot be produced in the same run; first you would score the paper, then remove the accessory and run the sheet through again to fold. You can also expand the machine functionality further by also adding the AC0629A micro-perforator add-on accessory. Product Details
