Loctite Surface Seal 518, 50ml is an anaerobic sealant, with medium resistance, with a single component, which is cleaned when closed in the absence of air between tight metal surfaces. Typical applications include sealing tight joints between rigid metal faces and flanges. The thixotropic nature of loctite reduces the migration of the liquid product after application on the substrate. Loctite Surface Seal 518, 50ml offers a robust curing performance. It works not only on active metals, but also on passive substrates, such as aluminum with a low copper content. The product offers a hollow performance up to 0.25 mm and tolerance to contamination. It cures in the presence of minor surface contamination from various oils, such as cutting, lubrication, anticorrosive and protective fluids and detergents containing surfactants and corrosion inhibitors.
