This unique artwork is from a limited series exploring experience of variation and change through data recording and printmaking processes. 
The work uses a sample of altitude data from a local walk, each circle representing a data point. Data was grouped and colours assigned to each group. Changes in colour represent changes in altitude during the walk. 
Each circle is cut from a handmade print, each one is unique, even where it appears at first sight a similar colour or pattern. 
I've used a a grid for the composition which works well with data – I love the structure and the repetition, containing and organising so much individual variation. The patterns and colours will keep drawing you in for a closer look time and time again.
