Honor and Chivalry
Set in the 15th century, a young squire, Myles Falworth, seeks to become a knight and to redeem his father’s honor. Myles trains under the Earl of Mackworth to become a chivalrous knight. Once he obtains his knighthood, Myles gains honor for himself by winning jousting matches and serving in France. Upon returning to England Myles must face a family enemy, the Earl of Alban. The book provides great detail of the life, training, and equipment of knights of the era.
This edition is derived from the original book published in 1891 with 15 black and white illustrations by the author, Howard Pyle.
