An exciting cornflower blue sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The 2.12 carat blue oval-cut gemstone is set in the centre of this ring with a generous assortment of diamonds amounting to a total weight of 1.50 carats surrounding it. The cluster of round-cut diamonds are claw-set in platinum, leading down to tapered shoulders and an open back-holing. The band tests as 18ct yellow gold. Circa 1987.
