Session 1: One individual 30-minute yarn selection session, scheduled separately with each student between 1:30–5:00pm. We will email students before the first class to assign time slots.

Sessions 2–5: Saturdays from 2:00–4:00pm on August 29, September 26, October 24, November 21, 2026.

Advanced Beginner. Confident with casting on, the knit and purl stitch, increasing and decreasing and binding off.

Swatch, yarn, pattern, needles and notions - details will be emailed to each student.

HOMEWORK

Determine which pattern you would like to make and purchase.

DETAILS

The goal of this series is to knit a sweater while learning how to create one that fits you in the way you want it to and where and how to make modifications in your pattern to make that happen - potentially starting with your very first garment or unlocking these secrets for your ongoing garment knitting.  Start with a one-on-one review of your choices for each student and complete your sweater in a supportive environment and relaxed timeline.  Your instructor is by your side throughout the series.

Skill Requirements: Knit, purl, knitting in the round, basic pattern reading.
