The Aikan French Malt Collection – Aika is an original French single malt that fully embraces the Aikan concept of tropical maturation . Distilled in Warenghem, France , the whisky was then given a second maturation in the Caribbean in JM rum ​​casks , where the warm climate allows for a more intense interaction between spirit and wood.

This results in a mature and aromatic whisky with clear rum influences: vanilla, ripe banana, dried fruit, light spices, and a soft woody note . On the palate, it is round and smooth, with a warm sweetness and a balanced finish in which the tropical character lingers beautifully without becoming overpowering.

Not a heavy or complex powerhouse, but an accessible and well-constructed single malt that distinguishes itself through its maturation and origin.
