Wolf Stone is a planted tank aquarium rock that is almost a hybrid between Elephant Skin Stone and Icelandic Lava Stone. Elephant Skin Stone features more rounded edges while Wolf Stone provides more of a sharper jagged texture, varying color tones and is relatively porous like Icelandic Lava Stone. Wolf Stone's porous surface also makes it a great contender for attaching aquarium plants such as aquatic mosses, Anubias, and Bucephalandra.

Another added benefit is another area is presented for beneficial bacteria to build colonies that are essential for a balanced planted aquarium tank. We recommend pairing Wolf Stone with species such as Mini Christmas Moss, Java Moss, Mini Pellia and Fissidens Fontanus for a beautiful, aged look. A simple foreground aquarium plant or fine natural sand along with a minimal choice of other aquatic plants would complete the look.
