The renowned Cameco Syringe Pistol allows quick, easy fine-needle aspirations to be performed. The Needle can be precisely controlled and guided with one hand, and enables exact positioning for the aspiration procedure. Its unique design gives the doctor a free hand to work with, improves comfort and is less traumatic for the patient than conventional biopsy methods.

The Syringe Pistol has many uses, including breast and thyriod biopsies as well as cytological testing in oncology, gynaecology and urology. Other uses include common salt washing of Cr-marked blood corpuscles in injection bottles and supra-pubic bladder puncture in the diagnosis of urinary duct infections.

The Syringe Pistol is precision-machined from light weight aluminum with stainless steel guides. It serves as a handle which holds the syringe and also guides the needle.
