A regal English shrub rose introduced in 1991 by David Austin, The Dark Lady features lush, deep-crimson cupped blooms with an old-rose fragrance. Reminiscent of tree peonies, its very full flowers (up to 140 petals) bloom in flushes from late spring through autumn, fading gracefully to a soft pink in warmer climates.
