This is the liner lock version of the Iron Dragon. The original titanium frame lock design is no longer in production. This edition maintains the same iconic design but is now built with G-10 handles, black hardware and titanium liner lock.

The Iron Dragon was developed as a tribute to Ernest Emerson’s friend and mentor, Richard Bustillo, known throughout the world as “The Iron Dragon.” This blade is a smooth, ergonomic, everyday carry knife that you’ll always want by your side in a time of need.

Richard Bustillo was an original student of Bruce Lee.  Richard Bustillo was the partner of Dan Inosanto who brought both Bruce Lee's Art of Jeet Kune Do (JKD) and Filipino Martial Arts to the world.  Richard Bustillo was my teacher.  He was my mentor.  He was my friend.  Richard Bustillo was "The Iron Dragon."

If it were not for Richard, I might not be making knives, because he gave me his Bali Song knife so I could make one of my own - and it was the first knife I ever made.  Richard taught me how to take a punch and how to throw one.  Richard Bustillo was a good man, fair, honest, and an inspiration to me and the thousands of others he had instructed, coached and guided over the years.  He truly was one of the most talented an influential martial artists of all time.  Known to those in the Martial Arts community as "The Iron Dragon," I designed this knife as a tribute to him.  It is a true fighter with a tactical edge that places it squarely in both worlds.  The Iron Dragon is quick, graceful and deadly, just like Richard Bustillo - the real "Iron Dragon."
