Arran Quarter Cask – The Bothy (2019) is a robust, powerful, and fruity single malt that undergoes two stages of maturation. First, the whisky matures in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels , then receives an additional finish in small Quarter Casks (125 liters), which creates extra intensity, more wood contact, and a full, creamy structure.

This release is a favourite within the Arran range due to its combination of high alcohol strength, rich bourbon influences and fresh island character .

• Nose: citrus, pear, vanilla, coconut, honey and fresh oak.

• Taste: full and powerful, with sweet vanilla, pineapple, toffee, citrus oil, spices and creamy wood notes from the quarter casks.

The Bothy 's label is rustic and clean , with soft, natural tones reminiscent of the traditional huts ("bothies") on Arran. It perfectly complements the whisky's natural, pure island vibe.
