About Vibrations of Sedona

When I’m building an abstract landscape like Cathedral Rock, my goal is to capture the essence of a landscape. I want the lines and shapes to capture the energy of the place - in this case, some of my lines feel like vibrations or sound waves. I use colors that appear along the trail (cacti, red gravel, twisted tree roots, etc.), but may not be entirely visible in the distant view. I want to capture both the immediate experience (aka the vibes) of hiking the trail, while also translating the iconic ridgeline seen from afar.
