VHX-70F-FIR-K-W is a bolt in gauge cluster for the 1970-81 Firebirds, boasting five analog instruments in addition to dual LCD message centers. Modern gauges with an original look that allow you to have convenient features like a low fuel light, turn signal on indicator, 0-60 and they will display top speed. Information can be viewed on the gauges or on the message center. Uses the stock bezel for reliable gauges with a 2nd gen Firebird look. Fully lit needles, backlit faces, and highly visible LCD message centers are a few of the things that you can see which set the VHX Series apart from yesterday’s traditional approach to instrumentation. A few of the features which you don’t normally see are the micro-controlled precision stepper motors, solid state sensors for unparalleled accuracy, and user-customizable display feedback, all supported by an unrivaled limited lifetime warranty which has become the standard for Dakota Digital instrumentation systems. Completely engineered and manufactured at the Dakota Digital facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Starting from scratch, CNC machined housings are filled with electronics designed and built in-house, helping Dakota Digital once again raise the bar for aftermarket instrumentation. As you’ve come to expect from Dakota Digital, the VHX series utilizes a central control box to make installation and setup as easy as possible. Bezel isn't included; gauges use the stock bezel. Speedometer can use original signal with included adapter, or you can change it to a GPS or electronic signal. Current time or other information can be displayed in the LCD message center.

Gauges have a black Alloy background with white illumination. Illumination is not changeable on these gauges. Other backgrounds are available but not in stock.
