These highly textured canvas pieces began as my palette paper - the surface where excess paint, color mixing, and creative experiments lived while I worked on original paintings. Instead of discarding them, I let the layers dry and then returned to them with fresh eyes.

Using acrylic paint, charcoal, and ink, I carved women out of the surfaces-allowing each figure to emerge from the chaos of color and texture already there. 

Each piece is a transformation-from something once overlooked, into a strong, expressive feminine form. The pieces are layered, raw, and full of movement-a reminder that beauty can rise from what is left behind.
