Compass Box The Story of the Spaniard (2018) is a full-bodied, fruity, and sherry-driven blended malt inspired by John Glaser's travels through Spain. This whisky is dominated by malts matured in first-fill sherry casks (PX and Oloroso), complemented by malts from red wine casks and bourbon casks —giving it depth, sweetness, and warm spice.

The blend includes whiskies from Deanston, Glen Elgin, Teaninich and local Highland distilleries , carefully chosen for their rich, vinous character.
