Seagreen & Blue Beads

Eva hand mixes polymer clay colours in small batches before weighing, rolling, piercing & stringing each individual bead. It's a long, slow process. But the results are beautiful.

Fastening

Finished with sari silk ribbon, reclaimed from sari production in factories in India and made into ribbon lengths in rural India using handmade traditional techniques by women's co-op groups The ribbons are hand dyed so may have areas that are over or under-dyed, including 'speckles', giving a gorgeous vintage feel.

Using ribbon allows for you to fasten at the perfect length for you and your outfit, and is long enough for a dramatic bow to be tied at the back or side. Feeling less dramatic? Trim to the length you prefer.
