Kilchoman Am Bùrach is a unique, limited-edition release from 2020, created by a rare error in the distillation process— Am Bùrach literally means "the chaos" in Gaelic. Two different Kilchoman whiskies, drawn from bourbon barrels and port wine casks, were accidentally combined. Rather than conceal this, Kilchoman chose to perfect the result and release it as a special edition.

The result was surprisingly good: a rich, fruity and smoky Islay whisky with a very recognisable, unique character.
