An excellent Peerless #5 fly reel, 3 1/4" diameter and set up for RHW. A nice versatile size, this classic S-handle reel has good capacity and a strong drag. The spool width is ~1" and the reel is designed to hold a WF7 or WF8 with ~125 yards of backing. It weighs 8.7 ounces on my scale. Excellent very lightly used condition with just a few tiny traces of wear on the frame edge and two very minor scuffs on the frontplate. The reel is excellent mechanically with a pleasing click. The drag is easily adjustable via a knurled dial on the backplate. Classic black and silver anodized color. The reel comes in the original Peerless leather pouch. A very nice classic reel for your single handed salmon or steelhead rod.
