The material is anti-friction and anti-shearing for the protection of vulnerable skin. It is a non-abrasive, smooth texture that does not grip skin. The material is woven with elastin to ensure Bi-Directional stretch is maintains for anatomically contouring and to prevent ‘hammocking’ and stretch taut beneath pronounced bony regions. In addition, this high-stretch material complements the multi-tiered foam structure and pressure-redistributing features of the mattress core.
