Focus RS MK2 Airtec Stage 3 Intercooler

Airtec stage 3 is the only off the shelf intercooler that uses a 100mm deep core! we use this core only in the most extreme coolers, we name the 100mm core 'GobStopper' due to it's amazing cooling properties

The Airtec stage 2 had already proved itself in the Focus RS tuning scene as the must have mod for 400+ cars, we wanted to take the stage 3 to a whole new level and it took well over 10 month's to get perfect.

Every Stage 3 Intercooler comes with a 70mm cold side hose, if you have a big boost pipe kit fitted, your Hot side pipework will still fit.

Test results 

• AIRTEC Stage2 Intercooler - Max power 594.2 bhp & 546.3 lbft torque 
• Run 1 Air temp into Intercooler 164 degrees & Air temp out of Intercooler 25 degrees
• Run 2 Air temp into Intercooler 163 degrees & Air temp out of Intercooler 27 degrees
• Run 3 Air temp into Intercooler 168 degrees & Air temp out of Intercooler 28 degrees

• AIRTEC Stage3 Intercooler - Max power 631.5 bhp & 600.5 lbft torque 
• Run 1 Air temp into Intercooler 166 degrees & Air temp out of Intercooler 21 degrees
• Run 2 Air temp into Intercooler 167 degrees & Air temp out of Intercooler 22 degrees
• Run 3 Air temp into Intercooler 171 degrees & Air temp out of Intercooler 22 degrees

Gains of 37.3+ bhp peak & 54.2 lbft torque increase. This was simply by swapping from stage2 to stage3, Please note if you were fitting stage 3 on a 400+bhp car you would not see gains like above, this intercooler was designed for Genuine 500+ bhp cars, it will improve a 400+ bhp car but not to the level of the car on test.
