Prada Marfa sits on Highway 90 in the West Texas desert — a permanent art installation by Elmgreen & Dragset, built to look like a Prada boutique and left to slowly decay. It's one of the great conceptual art pieces of the early 2000s: a perfect Prada storefront in the middle of nowhere, selling nothing, serving no one. This photograph captures it in the harsh Texas light, which is exactly where it belongs. For any wall that takes contemporary art seriously and has a sense of humour about it.
