A Bavarian single malt with Spanish temperament – ​​that's exactly what this Slyrs Oloroso Finish exudes. Batch L0496 is a powerful marriage of the Alps and Andalusia: German precision with the warm, raisin-like depth of Oloroso sherry casks.

The nose opens softly yet distinctly: warm notes of dried fruit, figs, almonds, and light caramel. The Oloroso influence immediately permeates the palate without masking the fresh malt notes of Slyrs.

On the palate, it's full, round, and surprisingly rich: chocolate, walnuts, honey, orange marmalade, and a distinct sherry sweetness. The malt base remains present, providing balance, so it never becomes too heavy.

The finish is medium to long, with notes of spice, cocoa and a dry sherry touch that slowly recedes.

A characterful, elegant expression of Slyrs that proves that sherry finishing in the Alps can go just as deep as in Scotland.
