The Multi's design starts with a pair of 24” wheels. This slightly smaller wheel size combined with the frame design give the Veloe a lower stand-over height, allowing both short and tall riders to fit easily, not to mention being easier to mount and dismount when fully loaded with cargo. Furthermore, the smaller wheels give the bike a lower center of gravity than many cargo bikes. A lower center of gravity means the rider is more stable and less likely to feel the extra weight of overzealous grocery runs or wriggling toddlers. Which leads to the next unique feature of the Veloe eMidtail: cargo carrying.

The Veloe’s rear rack is ideal for carrying one smaller child on a traditional bike seat or up to two older kids on a cushion with the wrap around bars. Another option worth considering is the frame fixed “jumpseat” located between the rider and handlebars. Suitable for a child between the ages of 3-7, these seats common in the Netherlands are frequently a favorite among kids. The cargo capability of the Veloe doesn’t stop there. The bike comes standard with a frame-fixed front rack capable of carrying 23 kg. Permanently attach a crate to it or bungee a bag down with your work essentials. 

The Veloe eMidtail is a pedelec, meaning it only provides motor assistance when the rider is pedaling, and will stop providing assistance when the speed reaches 25km/h.  

Last but not least, the Veloe eMidtail comes standard with a pair of durable, city-specific Schwalbe Big Ben Plus tires, fenders to protect the rider from soggy streets, bolted-on front and rear LED lights, a chainguard to protect the chain and the rider’s pant leg from collecting grime, a bell to alert other road users, and an upright, comfortable ride.
