The Prism Series Details And Story 

Each bowl will be unique, no two alike. Some will be individuals, others will be paired into harmonic duos. 

Your Prism Series Bowls are made Fused quartz (99.99 % SiO₂). This produces high optical clarity (like crystal glass), distinct from the milky look of sand-cast or frosted bowls.

The name “Prism” reflects clarity, precision, and light. These bowls are crystal glass sculptures and perfectly tuned musical instruments.

You're seeing molten quartz spun and gravity-formed into shape, not pressed, with the walls being manually mechanically trimmed after forming.

Annealing, finishing and Tuning

Bowls were annealed (cooled) slowly in a kiln (500–1200 °C ramp-down) to relieve internal stress, then polished on the rim. 

Each bowl’s tone was verified via digital tuner (± 5 cents), not tuned by grinding mid-body (that would leave matte striations, which your video lacks).

Sound Character

Timbre: luminous, bell-like, with a crystalline overtone envelope.

Decay: very slow exponential fade (~15 s+ tail), showing strong structural uniformity.

Strike vs. rim play: when struck, the attack is immedaite; when rim-played, the tone “blooms” smoothly."
