"Southwold has been a place I have loved to visit for many years. We took the children there as they were growing up and we are now lucky enough to stay there in the summer in our own boat. The town is full of charm but it is the Harbour I love most. In this print I have tried to depict the atmosphere and character of being there. In the background you can see Mark and I striding along towards Windsong our boat, mourned up and surrounded by swans."

Artist
Prolific painter and printmaker Angela Harding is inspired by the fauna and flora of the natural environment. From her home studio in rural Rutland, England's smallest county, Angela creates original artworks and illustrations and has recently illustrated for Gardens Illustrated, BBC Countryfile and Country Living Magazine.

Angela's background in etching and drypoint informs her current preferred printmaking processes of linocut and silkscreen where she has developed her use of expressive lines and mark-making.
