Dr Treahna Hamm (Yorta Yorta)

Dr Treahna Hamm is an internationally renowned Aboriginal artist. Based in the Mulwala/Yarrawonga region she has been practicing for over 30 years. Her works are composed of multi-layered stories garnered from her experience of living by the Murray River in Northern Victoria and Southern NSW. Treahna’s practise includes contemporary printmaking, painting, photography, public art, sculpture, possum skin cloaks, murals and highly individual fibre weaving.

Having exhibited in New York, South Korea, Hawaii, New Zealand, Paris, Belgium, Germany and the United States, her work can be found in art galleries and museum collections both nationally and internationally.
