An Edwardian emerald engagement ring. Set to centre a vibrant rectangular step-cut emerald with a weight of 2.77 carats. The emerald is encircled by a 0.50 carat cluster of ten diamonds. The diamonds are flanked on either side by a 0.04 carat diamond of equal clarity and colour, bringing the total diamond weight up to 0.58 carats. The diamond set shoulders complete this ring, Tested 18ct yellow gold, circa 1905.
