Provenance

Originating from the United Kingdom, this piece dates to Circa 1860, the Victorian era. Set to centre with a large natural yellow sapphire. The shoulders and collet are decorated with tiny granules of gold - a decorative technique mastered by the Etruscans. Etruscan jewellery is renowned for its use of minuscule gold granules. In the early 19th century, archaeological discoveries in Italy uncovered these treasures.
